Culture and history

The Catholic Church of Saint-Étienne has been classified as a historic monument since 1862. It was built in two phases and in two different architectural styles. The Château de Vernouillet is located in the Parc district and is visible from Boulevard de l’Europe. It began as a hunting lodge in the 17th century, was rebuilt and extended, and became a manor house at the end of the 18th century.
