Green Space
In the centre of Saint-Mandé lies the Jardin Alexandra David-Néel, a landscaped green space covering approximately 3,000 m². The garden was created in 2008 on a concrete platform covering the RER A railway tracks. Visitors will find a children’s playground, benches, a fountain and numerous flower beds.
Those choosing Saint-Mandé as a travel destination may wish to rent a holiday apartment.
Culture and History
The Notre-Dame church in Saint-Mandé was built between 1883 and 1885 according to plans by the architect Edmond-Charles d'Albrizio, replacing an earlier 18th-century chapel. It was built in the Romanesque Revival style and has a distinctive tower entrance with a bell tower. Inside are several items of furnishing protected as historic monuments, including a statue of the Virgin and Child from the first half of the 14th century.
