The Écomusée is located at the Ferme de Cottinville in the centre of Fresnes. Through its programme, it researches and conveys the lives of the local inhabitants and their cultural heritage.

The Grange dîmière is a municipal theatre at the Ferme de Cottinville and offers a varied, demanding programme.

Of the Saint-Eloi Church, built in the second half of the 12th century, only the central choir bay has been preserved.
The remaining parts of the Saint-Eloi Church were rebuilt in 1538, as indicated by a commemorative stone on the south side.
Three of the originally 27 inspection shafts of the 13-kilometre-long Aqueduc Médicis are located within the territory of Fresnes.
Regard numéro III, also known as Regard de la Loge, was listed as a historic monument on 10 February 1988; the protection covers the Aqueduc Médicis and its external structures.
Nature
The Pépinières de la Ville de Paris cover around 40 hectares of the Plaine de Montjean, which extends across Fresnes and Rungis. Plants, flowers, trees and shrubs are grown there to provide greenery for the city of Paris.
The Pépinières can be reached from the Chemin des Otages via a footpath open to the public.
The Parc des Prés de la Bièvre, opened in June 2004, is described as the most original or “wildest” urban natural area in Fresnes.
