Oncy-sur-École draws attention to the Romanesque Church of Saint-Martin: it was built in the 11th century and is one of the oldest churches in the Essonne department. The church bears the “Patrimoine d’Intérêt Régional” label. Inside are a 13th-century Madonna and Child and a statue of Saint Anne; both are classified as historic monuments.

Landscape
The River l’École forms the eastern boundary of Oncy-sur-École. The rocky slopes of the Mont Grippon massif contain Mesolithic rock engravings. In the surrounding area are Caverne des Brigands, a cave, Mont Rouget, a hill, and Rocher de Dame Jouanne, a hill. Mont Pivot, a hill, is also located nearby.

The geocaching trail in Oncy-sur-École includes five hidden caches. The traditional mountain biking and gravel cycling tour “La Milliacoise 2025” offered seven routes in the Fontainebleau forest massif and the forest of Oncy-sur-École.
