Nature and Bodies of Water
The Noëltant is just under 9 km long. The Noëltant stream runs through Louvenne and flows into the Suran near the town centre. A prefectural order protecting a biotope for the white-clawed crayfish and its associated valuable fauna applies to the Noëltant in Louvenne.

The circular trail to the Abbaye de Gigny leads to Louvenne and offers an impressive view across the valley there. On the return leg of the circular trail to the Abbaye de Gigny, the route follows the Suran.
The Foyer rural du Noëltant, which brought together the former municipalities of Louvenne and Montrevel, organised a shared dinner on the evening of 14 August for many years. The Foyer Rural of Louvenne celebrates the “Fête du pays” on 15 August.
