The Sentier des cascades et gorges de la Langouette has six information panels about water, geology and built heritage. The easy La Montagne Ronde hiking route is 4.9 kilometres long and runs through Les Planches-en-Montagne. It starts and ends at Le Martinet in Les Planches-en-Montagne.
The “Entre Saine et Lemme” route passes through Les Planches-en-Montagne and connects the Morillon rocks, the Langouette Gorges and the Prés Grillet viewpoint. At the Langouette site, the existing car park was expanded and renovated; there are dry toilets there that are accessible year-round.

The “Eaux vives, Eaux dormantes / Langouette” route highlights that water once powered mills, sawmills, forges and eyewear workshops in the area.

The mountain Le Mont Noir, the historic site Abbaye de Balerne, the mountain Crêt à la Dame and the mountain Montagne de Fresse are located in the vicinity of Les Planches-en-Montagne.
