Nature

The Sentier pédestre des Croix hiking trail is signposted in Vernois-sur-Mance. The commune is one of the communes included in the ZNIEFF Vallée de la Mance vers Vernois-sur-Mance, ruisseaux des Roises et de la Perche. This ZNIEFF comprises flood meadows and riparian vegetation along the Mance; the communes concerned include Vernois-sur-Mance.

The Roises and Perche streams, tributaries of the Mance, have been protected since 13 April 2007 under a prefectural decree on biotope protection, for the protection of the white-clawed crayfish and brown trout.

Culture

The village church of Vernois-sur-Mance dates from the 18th century and has furnishings from that period. Two several-hundred-year-old lime trees stand in front of the church.

The circular fountain in Vernois-sur-Mance supplies water and has a niche in an antiquarian style. There are three other flower-decorated fountains in the village. A fountain washhouse is located in the heart of the village.

As part of the Cie MuchMuche residency, an event at the fountain in Vernois-sur-Mance was scheduled for Friday, 12 April 2019.
