North of the village of Esmoulières, the Evouhey peatland complex comprises five peat bogs near the hamlet of the same name.

Ruisseau et tourbière d'Evouhey is a type 1 ZNIEFF area and is included in the Plateau des Mille Étangs Natura 2000 site.
The Saut du Brigandoux is also a type 1 ZNIEFF area in Esmoulières. It consists of four waterfalls with a total elevation difference of 50 metres and is included in the Plateau des Mille Étangs Natura 2000 site.
Fishing is possible near the Cascade du Brigandoux waterfall complex. The Cascade du Brigandoux is considered difficult to access. It is a natural site rich in legends and a tributary of the Beuletin.
