Raddon-Et-Chapendu: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Nature
The 16-kilometre Circuit des Pierres et des Étangs begins in Raddon-et-Chapendu. It leads through forests, past ponds, erratic boulders and cherry orchards, showcasing the natural and cultural heritage through scattered houses, crosses, fountains, chalots – small grain stores attached to former farmsteads –, lava-stone roofs, traditional farmhouses, a lavière and a bread oven.
Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Raddon-et-Chapendu should consider this destination.
Culture
The Fête du bois takes place every two years on the last Sunday in July. It includes a lumberjack competition and a craft exhibition.
In the municipal forest, there are stones locally known as “pierres aux sacrifices”. The Ogier distillery, later Peltey, was founded around 1900.
Activities
At the hamlet of Les Forges in Raddon-et-Chapendu is La Ferme du Petit Galop, an equestrian centre and educational farm. It offers 30-minute rides for young children as well as rides lasting an hour or a full day. Multi-day trail rides are also available.

The Aire d'accueil de camping-cars is located near the stadium and sports hall at the edge of the forest. It has a Campiflux service point with a coin slot for €2, as well as water and electricity supplies.
