The 7.5 km-long hiking trail “De la Croix de Cassini au Plateau de Cita” passes through the wooded areas of Navenne, La Demie and Échenoz-la-Méline. The easy hike takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Nature
The Natura 2000 site “Pelouses de la région vésulienne et vallée de la Colombine” includes the area of the Plateau de Cita in Navenne, La Demie and Échenoz-la-Méline. It is characterised by dry grasslands on plateaus and slopes overlooking the small valley of the Colombine.
Hiking
The hiking trail reaches the Plateau de Cita, a prehistoric site described as a fortified spur. From there, impressive views extend over Échenoz-la-Méline, Noidans-lès-Vesoul and Vesoul.
The circular route alternates between woodland and paths through meadows, offering views of Vesoul and the Vesoul urban area.
Culture
The Église Saint-Rémy was built in several phases. Its Gothic chancel dates from the 16th century, while its nave dates from the 18th century; the church also contains old gravestones.
The hill crowned by the Croix de Cassini is suitable for walks. The stone Croix de Saint-Antoine was listed by decree of 4 December 1959.

La Demie is located a few kilometres from Vesoul, halfway between the N57 towards Besançon and the D9 towards Villersexel.
