Corbenay: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Grande Féculerie de Corbenay on Rue de la Féculerie is listed as an industrial monument. In 1920, a small hydroelectric power station, which had been established upstream on the Combeauté at the former Xolin mill, supplied the Grande Féculerie de Corbenay with electricity.

Culture and History

An approximately 800 m² former pulp pit has been preserved on the grounds of the Grande Féculerie de Corbenay. The coat of arms of Corbenay also preserves a historical reference: it features a motif with three hares, adopted from a very old carved stone that, according to a long-standing tradition, is said to have come from the former church.

Pink sandstone is a characteristic material of the local buildings in Corbenay. The Luxeuil-les-Bains Abbey is located in the vicinity of Corbenay. The wider surrounding region also includes the historic sites of Abbaye de Clairefontaine, Abbaye de Bithaine and Abbaye de Remiremont.
