The Espace Nature Culture in Haut-du-Them-Château-Lambert is one of the four sites of the Parc naturel régional des Ballons des Vosges that welcome visitors free of charge. It includes a 250 m² exhibition on the natural and cultural riches of the Southern Vosges. The activities there cover the environment, sustainable development and the cultural heritage of the Haute-Saône département.

The Maison de la Nature at the Espace Nature Culture regularly offers themed events and activities that raise public awareness of the environment.

Mining history and village life

Outside the buildings, the Musée Départemental Demard de la Montagne has a hillside trail presenting forestry and woodworking professions, including charcoal making, clog making and pit-sawing.

The Musée de la Montagne also presents work associated with mining copper, silver-bearing lead and molybdenum, and conveys the history of the village community before the major changes brought about by the First World War. The former copper and silver-bearing lead mines of Château-Lambert were worked from 1374 to 1768.
