Nature

The Gravière de Geneuille is a former gravel pit that is now a remarkable natural area with a discovery trail through gravel pits, reed beds, wet meadows and damp woodlands.

As a developed pond, the Gravière de Geneuille is a sensitive natural area with a fishing spot, picnic area and children’s playground. The wetland features a variety of wetland habitats and has an observation point for discreet birdwatching.

The Les Peupliers municipal grounds also offer space for walking and relaxing, as well as for outdoor games, fishing and reading.

Access to the Gravière de Geneuille begins at a car park on Chemin des Prés Secs, signposted from the D14 in the centre of Geneuille.
