Consolation-Maisonnettes lies at the sources of the Dessoubre and the Lançot. The Val de Consolation has numerous springs and waterfalls, while 350-metre-high cliffs surround the valley. The Grotte du Lançot is 50 metres deep, 40 metres wide and 15 metres high. Roche du Prêtre is a rocky outcrop more than 300 metres high.
