Casanova is located in the Parc Naturel Régional de Corse. In the old village of Casanova, visitors can discover dry-stone structures. Casanova also preserves dry-stone structures associated with the village’s former livestock-based economy.
Culture
One of the notable buildings is the Chapelle de l'Annonciation dite l'Annunziata in Casanova. It was built in 1661, has walls made of slate stone, and is covered with barrel vaults with lunettes.
The Musée de la Corse is located in the vicinity of Casanova. The Église et Baptistère de San Giovanni, a historical site, is also located near Casanova. The Église de Santa Mariona, a ruin, and the Chapelle San Giovanni, also a ruin, are likewise located in the surrounding area.

Nature
There is a high-mountain route on Monte Cardu. Several peaks are located near Casanova: Punta della Gianfena, Monte Corbaia, Pointe de Capezzolo, and Mont Cardo are each classified as peaks.

The path to Bergerie de Monte Pianu begins at the village of Casanova. The pastoral hike Furmicuccia passes through the Venacais side and then descends to the village of Casanova. The path to Bergerie de Monte Pianu is not marked, but is considered walkable, is used, and is kept in fairly good condition.
