Pietrosella: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The village of Pietrosella is characterised by old houses and small stone stairways. The Mare e Monti Sud trail, which connects Porticcio with Propriano, runs through the village.

Nature

The Pietrosella–Sant’ Amanza hike is a two-hour route of moderate difficulty. It leads to the authentic hamlet of Sant’ Amanza, which is currently being rebuilt and features old stone houses and a bread oven.

The Sentier de la myrte et du moulin is an easy 1-hour-and-15-minute walk through a cork oak forest to the ruins of an old mill called “u mulinu di a casa bianca”. A small stream is crossed along the way. The partly shaded Balade tour de l’Isolella is a pleasant walk and is well suited to families.

Culture

The stained-glass windows of the Église Sainte-Monique were created by master glass artist Alain Makaraviez. The Tour de l’Isolella was built in 1608 and restored in 1970. It features preserved machicolations and a cornice made of red bricks.

Local Life

I Marcati d’Isuledda takes place on Wednesdays in July and August from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Espace Isuledda. The event features artisans, creatives, local producers and exhibitors.

Coast

The Base Nautique Pietrosella water sports centre offers kayak, pedal boat and stand-up paddleboard rentals, as well as kayaking excursions. Pietrosella’s organised anchorage zone offers almost 400 buoys for recreational boaters every year from 1 May to 31 October.

Plage du Ruppione is regularly cleaned and maintained and is well suited to family holidays. Mare e Sole beach is sheltered from the wind.
