Prauthoy: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Château de Prauthoy comprises two 17th-century wings flanking the main façade, which was built in 1721. Through the marriage of Marie-Angélique, daughter of the philosopher Denis Diderot, to Abel Caroillon de Vandeul on 9 September 1772, the château is historically connected with Denis Diderot.

Culture

The Église Saint-Piat de Prauthoy was classified as a historic monument on 19 March 1913. It is a Gothic church with a single-nave layout and a flat-ended choir dating from the early 12th century. Inside are a high altar, an 18th-century tabernacle with an exposition canopy, and a 16th-century Pietà.
