Olivet: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Moulin des Béchets probably dates from the 15th century and was used to mill grain until 1915. At the Moulin de la Mothe, the wheel can still turn and generate electricity today.

Culture

The Church of Saint Martin was built between the 13th and 16th centuries. The three bays of the Church of Saint Martin, with 13th-century architecture, are listed in the register of Monuments Historiques.

The Chapelle de Couasnon is a former chapel dating from the 18th century and houses sculpture exhibitions. It can be visited independently and self-guided at any time or by arrangement.

The Parcours patrimoine is a historical tour through Olivet with 22 stops and explanatory panels. It presents Olivet’s heritage of trees and viticulture, as well as the heritage along the banks of the Loiret.

Nature and trails

Parc du Poutyl is a 3.5-hectare French park with great botanical diversity. Its terrace offers a view of the Loiret River.

Short walks and longer hikes along the river can begin at Bords du Loiret. There is also an exploration and interpretation trail there.

Hop en liberté provides a map of the greenways in Olivet for walkers, as well as two running routes that can be used independently.

Events

La Bamboche is a guinguette in Olivet that takes place from 3 to 26 July 2026, from Wednesday to Sunday, in Parc du Poutyl. Various shows and concerts bring Parc du Poutyl to life. La Bambinoche is also part of the La Bamboche programme.

The CINÉetc. screenings take place on one Friday per month at 8:30 p.m. at Alliage and are accompanied by a discussion with experts.
