Culture
The Château d’Augerville was originally a castle surrounded by moats. In the 15th century, the château belonged to Jacques Cœur. Several French kings visited or stayed at the Château d’Augerville, including Louis XI, Charles IX, Henri IV and Louis XIII; Catherine de Médicis is also said to have been present there.
The Église Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul was built in the 12th century and was significantly expanded in the 16th century under Marie Cœur.
The Tingrain mill was operational from the 12th to the 20th century and was subsequently restored.

Fishing is possible on the Essonne in Augerville-la-Rivière.
Activities
The Château d’Augerville golf course offers the public green fees for 18-hole rounds. Individual and group lessons with a professional golf instructor are also available.
The PR Jacques Cœur hiking trail is 6.03 km long and takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. It reaches the GR32 and runs along the wall of the Château d’Augerville park.

Les Douceurs du Château d’Augerville produces pralines, ganaches, orangettes, traditionally made marshmallows, confectionery, biscuits, cookies, cakes and chocolate bars on site.
