From 1500 to 1530, Lancelot du Lac directed the construction of the Château de Chamerolles. During restoration work, Protestant inscriptions were discovered in the former castle chapel; they are considered a rare testimony.

The Circuit de Chamerolles leads through the Forêt domaniale d’Orléans and offers an impression of diverse flora and fauna that changes with the seasons.

A shuttle service operates to the Château de Chamerolles from May to September on weekends and public holidays.
