Remembrance
From 1942 to 1944, the Voves camp interned 2,030 resistance fighters, political activists, trade unionists and opponents of the Vichy regime. The Voves Camp Museum displays photographs, letters and objects such as sculptures and paintings created by the prisoners during their internment. Visits to the Voves camp are possible year-round, but only by prior appointment.
Nature
The Plan d’eau de Voves is a protected natural area with tree-lined banks, inviting visitors to go for walks and enjoy the outdoors. During the warmer months, the Guinguette Le P'tit Mousse offers light meals, cold drinks and regular entertainment.
Leisure
Beaucéo is located in Voves (Les Villages Vovéens) and combines leisure and relaxation facilities with a fitness area, a balneotherapy area and a weight room. Beaucéo has a swimming area heated to 28°C and a leisure pool with whirlpools, massage jets and balls.
