The Château de Langeais is a 15th-century castle with a functioning drawbridge gate, covered rampart walk and imposing towers. Inside, it features fifteen furnished rooms, a scenographic presentation of the life of a noble family in the late Middle Ages and the wedding of Charles VIII and Anne of Brittany, as well as a collection of significant works from this period.

Culture and History
The Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Langeais has a 10th-century crypt that is open to visitors. The Église Saint-Laurent is a well-preserved Romanesque church; it is open to the public only during the Journées du Patrimoine.
Notre-Dame des Essards is a Romanesque church classified as a Monument historique and open to visitors during the Journées du Patrimoine. It has one of the rare 13th-century stained-glass windows in rural Touraine; the single-nave building dates from 1022.
Langeais's historical heritage also includes the Gisement paléolithique de la Roche-Cotard, a Palaeolithic archaeological site. It has been classified as a Monument historique since 7 May 2021 and encompasses the entire decorated Grotte d’Achon, its underground network, all caves and karst networks, the rock face and its slope, including the soil and subsoil.
Langeais is a stop on the Legend of the Été de la Saint Martin route between Candes-Saint-Martin and Tours. The 114-kilometre route begins in Chinon and ends in Tours.
