In the Marais de Taligny regional nature reserve in the municipality of La Roche-Clermault in the Indre-et-Loire département, more than 35 hectares contain 22 valuable habitats and more than 1,200 recorded species. Visitors can explore the Marais de Taligny via a designed path with wooden footbridges, elevated walkways and observation stations. The area also offers a 4.5 km route that is accessible year-round, with seven stations and 22 illustrated information panels.
On the way
The La Roche Clermault trail is signposted as an easy PR circular route through wooded and wine-growing areas. The route passes so-called caves demeurantes, simple dwellings carved into the local tuffeau stone.

In the immediate vicinity of La Roche-Clermault are the Château de la Roche, the château du Coudray Montpensier and the Château de Coulaine. The surrounding area also includes Ile au Than Beach, the ancient site of Lenou and the Château de Montsoreau-Museum of contemporary art Park.
Culture
The Fuie de la Bonnelière still has its rotating tree mechanism. At the Manoir de la Raisonnière, some dovecote niches attest to the former existence of a dovecote. The church’s side gallery, called the Caquetoire, is attached to the north and west façades and is considered unique in the region.
