Nogent-le-Roi: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

At the Église Saint-Sulpice in Nogent-le-Roi, several historical construction phases can be identified: the apse and transepts date from the 15th century, while two bays of the nave date from the 16th century; the nave was never completed.

Culture

The southern transept of the Église Saint-Sulpice has a fighting gallery with machicolations and battlements. The tracery windows contain stained-glass works from the 15th and 16th centuries. The present-day Château de Nogent-le-Roi was built in 1863 by Alfred Chapelain in the Neo-Louis XIII style.

The Château de Nogent-le-Roi, a historical site, is located in the immediate vicinity of Nogent-le-Roi. The surrounding area of Nogent-le-Roi also includes the Château de Morville, a castle, the Château de Maintenon, a historical site, and the Prieuré Saint-Thomas, also a historical site.

Nature and trails

The Parc du Château is a green space in the town centre of Nogent-le-Roi, used for relaxation and walking. Numerous old trees characterize the grounds; among other animals, fallow deer, donkeys, peacocks and small livestock live there. The Parc du Château also includes a children's playground. Nogent-le-Roi has cycle paths both inside and outside the château park.
