Cherisy: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
There are currently four marked hiking trails in the municipality of Chérisy.
Trails and landscape
The marked hiking loops in Chérisy are each 5 to 10 kilometres long and are marked in different colours. Green-marked connecting trails link the hiking loops in Chérisy. The approximately 5-kilometre hike «Sur les pas de Victor Hugo» leads through the old streets of Chérisy and forms a loop through the valley.
Other routes take in different landscapes: The hike «La boucle des Gâts» leads through the forests of Les Gâts des Osmeaux. «Vallées et Collines» leads through Le Petit-Chérisy, Les Osmeaux and Fermaincourt and offers changing landscapes as well as beautiful panoramas. «La boucle de Raville» leads through the hamlet of Raville and around the Vallée Verte and Fonds Eaux forests.
The Centre Equestre Aventure et Vous in Chérisy offers trail rides and horse-riding excursions for families, friends, beginners and experienced riders, ranging from one hour to a full day.
Culture and history
The oldest part of today's Église Saint-Pierre de Chérisy probably dates back to the 12th century. Victor Hugo stopped in the Vallon de Chérisy and wrote an elegy there. The Minoterie dite «Les Moulins de Chérisy» was awarded the «Architecture contemporaine remarquable» label in 2016.
