Saint-Doulchard: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Château de Varye is a restored manor house dating from 1870. The Parc du Domaine de Varye is a two-hectare wooded park intended exclusively for pedestrians. The Domaine de Varye hosts numerous exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year.

Four circular trails, ranging from 8.6 to 17 kilometres in length, start at the Domaine de Varye. Two circular trails, approximately 2.7 and 4.5 kilometres long respectively, start at the COSEC; they lead around the Bourg and the central area.

Culture and history

The reliquary of Saint Joan of France is located in the Annonciade convent in Saint-Doulchard. The Annonciade convent welcomes groups and individuals. The Saint-Doulchard weekly market takes place in the Bourg on Tuesdays throughout the year. The Annonciade religious order was founded in 1502 by Joan of France, the daughter of Louis XI.

The Palais Jacques-Coeur, a palace, is located in the wider regional area around Saint-Doulchard. The Ancien Hôtel-Dieu, the Hôtel Cujas and the Hôtel des Échevins are historical sites there.
