Culture and History
The Abbaye Saint-Martin de Massay, a historic site, is located near Saint-Hilaire-de-Court. In the wider surrounding region are the Abbaye d'Olivet and the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Beauvoir, both historic sites, as well as the Château de Romorantin, a château.
La Beuvrière is a partially reconstructed château dating from the 13th century that visitors can admire. The Château Hôtel de la Beuvrière was built in the 11th century, was a Protestant fief, and was partially destroyed during the Wars of Religion.
