Neuvy-Sur-Barangeon: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Neuvy-sur-Barangeon showcases its natural side particularly vividly at the Tourbière de la Guette: covering 23 hectares, this sensitive natural area is the largest recorded peat bog in Sologne. The bog is home to an exceptional flora and unusual fauna, which are often protected at regional or even national level. A boardwalk that is freely accessible all year round allows visitors to observe the habitat; information boards and educational stations provide information about the area.
Nature and landscape
The Parc de l'Étang de M. Gentil is a 2.5-hectare landscaped yet natural-looking park with various habitats extending from the Barangeon to a bamboo grove. In the wider region around Neuvy-sur-Barangeon is the Bois d'Humbligny hill. The Motte d'Humbligny ou le Chaillou, also recorded as a hill, is located there as well.

Fishing is possible at the Étang de M. Gentil; fishing rods can be borrowed free of charge after reservation. Les Jardins du Meunier has a path open to everyone that runs around the vegetable plots and is an open place for sharing knowledge, exchanging plants and meeting others.
History and culture
At the Moulin de la Biodiversité, you can learn about the history and workings of the town's former watermill; its mechanism is presented in an informative way. Quizzes, totems, interactive stations and fold-out information boards are also offered there. An accompanying booklet entitled “Explonature” is available free of charge.
