Culture and history
The parish church of the Assumption (Église paroissiale de l’Assomption) in Saunières houses a 17th-century statue of the Virgin and Child.

The stepped arrangement comprises a square bell tower above the nave, two lower side chapels, a stair tower, a higher choir and a small sacristy offset from the axis.
