Saint-Point: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The marked Circuit des croix is approximately 15 km long and leads through almost all of Saint-Point’s hamlets. The route can be used on horseback, on foot and by mountain bike. It runs along both slopes of the Valouzin Valley.

Nature and trails

The GR76 passes through Saint-Point. The pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela and Assisi also cross the village and follow the GR76 there. Saint-Point is also connected to the Route des Châteaux en Bourgogne du Sud, which includes fourteen châteaux.

Culture and history

The church of Saint-Point has a Romanesque choir, a Romanesque transept, the three final bays of the nave and a Romanesque bell tower; all four structural elements date from around 1100. The apse features a 15th-century fresco of Christ in Majesty.

The church is located outside the château grounds along the surrounding wall and is freely accessible year-round. In rural Saint-Point, La Pimenterie is also a versatile cultural and social venue. Le P’tit Pim is a children’s festival.

Swimming is possible in Lac Saint Point Lamartine. The site has a picnic area and parking. Lac Saint Point Lamartine is located in a protected environment.
