Trails
The Chemin des lavoirs begins and ends in Lournand. It is a horse-riding, hiking and mountain-biking route. The easy, 7 km circular trail, part of the Balades vertes concept, includes 120 metres of elevation gain. This concept was created and supported by the Saône-et-Loire département. The trail connects five washhouses; each of these small structures from the early 19th century comprises a washhouse, a well and livestock troughs. The Chemin des lavoirs also offers views of the Clunisois and its scrub-covered hills.

Lournand has a hilly landscape with slopes facing east. These slopes were once suitable for winegrowing; stone murgers still mark out plots and paths today.

Culture and History
The Chapelle Saint Laurent de Collonges is located on the GR 76, at the crossroads of the routes to Santiago de Compostela and the Way of Saint Francis of Assisi. It is a historic monument; its origins probably date back to before the year 900.
The Eglise de l'Assomption, also known as Église Sainte Marie, has been documented since 950. It was originally Romanesque and was completely rebuilt in 1846, with the exception of the bell-tower bay. The church is intended to retain its religious function and serve as a venue for cultural events organised by the municipality of Lournand.

The historic site of Abbaye de Cluny is located in the immediate vicinity of Lournand. The surrounding area of Lournand also features Chabotte Castle, Château de Cormatin and the historic site of Berzé Castle.
