The “Givry: Nature Discovery of the Côte Chalonnaise” route is a moderately difficult, 9.9-kilometre hiking trail starting in Givry. The Givry G1 hiking trail leads to the Impluvium washhouse in Cortiambles.
The cycling circuit through Givry returns via the Voie Verte, a former railway line converted into a cycle path. The easy “Givry: Cycling Loop from the Historic Village to the Vineyards” starts in Givry and is listed as being 14.6 kilometres long.
Culture and History
The Church of Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul in Givry was built between 1772 and 1791 in the neoclassical style. It is listed as a Monument historique and is a work by Emiland Gauthey.
The Church of Saint-Martin de Cortiambles has a 12th-century bell tower and two side chapels dating from the 15th century.
The Halle Ronde is a building listed as a Monument historique, built by Lazare Narjoux in 1825 and formerly used as a grain market.
