The floating grain mill Moulin à grain (moulin flottant sur le Doubs) was located on the left bank of the Doubs near the centre of Pontoux. It was the last floating mill on the Doubs.

The Sentier du Grand Bois de Pontoux is a 6.7 km circular trail starting and ending in Pontoux. It can be used on foot, by trekking bike, mountain bike and e-mountain bike.
