Saint-Émiland cemetery is home to a 15th-century oratory, which is listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments. A procession takes place at the Fontaine de Saint-Émiland on the last Sunday in August. Roger de Rabutin was born in 1618 in the vicinity of the Château d'Epiry.

The Romanesque church of Saint-Émiland preserves relics of Saint Emilien, who, according to a local legend, was killed by the Saracens in the 8th century. The Pierre Guénachère is located near the Fontaine de Saint-Émiland.

Nature and trails

Saint-Émiland has approximately 980 hectares of forest. A small tributary of the Drée crosses the nearby pond and then flows towards the Pont du Roi dam near Saint-Émiland. Saint-Émiland offers opportunities for fishing.

The PR6 La Fontaine de Saint-Émiland hiking trail is an easy route of 7.83 kilometres, taking approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes. The trail passes through the forest and follows the Lac du Pont du Roi for approximately one kilometre.

The D978 departmental road crosses Saint-Émiland and roughly follows the route of the ancient Roman road Via Agrippa.
