At the foothills of the Morvan, the Voie Celte climbs up to Laizy and offers beautiful viewpoints. The route is 20.6 kilometres long and very difficult. In places, it runs along paved roads because the wide Arroux Valley makes this necessary.
The “Sur les Hauteurs de Laizy” hike begins at the village hall car park and follows the River Arroux back to the starting car park.

Culture
The Church of Saint-Julien dates from the second quarter of the 12th century. Its choir was begun in the 1120s, and the nave was completed around 1140. The church contains the Gothic seigneurial chapel of Saint-Hubert, with a rib vault and the saint’s reliquary.
The Château de Chazeu is privately owned and cannot be visited. It has been listed as a historic monument since 7 November 1927.
The historic Moulins de Chazeu are 800 metres from the Château de Chazeu and can be visited. The grain mill of the Moulins de Chazeu is now used for cultural activities. The oil mill, equipped with a bread oven, has been converted into a bakery.
