Culture and history
The Église Saint-Laurent in Saussey, 21360, is a Romanesque church dating from the 15th century. Its bell tower has a Burgundian-style roof.

The Vernois du Bas mill is privately owned and no longer in operation. During the land consolidation in 1982, Saussey's communal washhouse was converted into the town hall and a function room. Saussey once had a local tradition of thatched roofs; until 1930, there was a thatcher in the municipality.
Landscape
The Lacanche River runs through Saussey. In the surroundings of Saussey, the first washhouse in the hamlet of Grandmont, in the direction of Saussey, offers a panorama of the Morvan.
Cycle paths
In the Pays Beaunois, visitors can enjoy greenways and long-distance cycle routes. Saussey is on the Véloroute des Hautes-Côtes, which runs for 12.6 km between Thury and Aubigny-la-Ronce. Saussey is also included in the Pays Beaunois cycling network.
Surroundings
Also in the surroundings of Saussey, in the hamlet of Grandmont, is the Fontenelle washhouse, which can only be reached on foot or by bicycle in the direction of Écutigny.
