The Church of Saint-Étienne features a 12th-century choir, a former seigneurial chapel dating from the late 15th century, and a bell tower built between 1858 and 1860.

The Château de Coraboeuf is an example of a 13th-century feudal residence. It includes a keep with corner towers and a chapel. The grounds are freely accessible; the interiors are not open to visitors.

The château also houses the painting “Vierge à l’Enfant et saint Jean-Baptiste”. Some experts describe it as possibly Flemish-inspired. The painting displays influences of the Italian Renaissance and bears analogies to works associated with Joos van Cleve and Gianpietrino.

The Croix Cadet, a wayside cross, bears the date 1845 and stands southeast of the village of Ivry-en-Montagne.

In Val-Mont, on the central square, there is an 18th-century house with rocaille decoration and a niche containing a statue. There are also two 19th-century washhouses, one of which is equipped with a chimney.

Nature

Ivry-en-Montagne is situated on an agriculturally used plateau at an altitude of around 470 metres. The terrain is gently rolling, ranging from around 420 metres in the west to 550 metres in the east.

The Petite Drée watercourse runs south of Ivry-en-Montagne. Several wooded areas lie to the west, including Bois de la Pérouse, Bois Coubert and Bois de la Ratte.

Geographical location

The RD17d crosses Ivry-en-Montagne from northwest to south, while the RD33 crosses the village from northeast to southwest. Both roads meet the RD906 in the north; via this road, the Côte viticole can be reached quickly to the south.
