Culture
The Église Saint-Genest was built in campaigns during the 13th, 15th and 16th centuries. It has been classified as a Monument historique since 1840.
During a guided tour of the Fabrique des Anis de Flavigny, visitors can see the dragee workshop, where aniseed is coated with syrup and essential oils in copper basins. The Fabrique also carries the “Accueil Vélo” label and provides cyclists with a bicycle rack, sanitary facilities, drinking water, information about cycling routes and picnic tables.
The Musée des Anis displays historic boxes, advertisements, tools and dragee basins; the exhibits also include illustrations from the early 19th century.
Nature
The vineyard of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain that can be seen today was planted in 1994 and covers 14 hectares. Around Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, hiking and cycling trails run through valleys and forests.

The “Des Anis au Vignoble” circular trail is 7.8 km long, takes approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes, and is rated easy. The “Autour du Mont Drouot” circular trail is 5.1 km long, takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, and is also rated easy.
The Way of St. James between Gray and Vézelay passes through Flavigny-sur-Ozerain on one stage. The Alésia discovery trail then leads to Flavigny-sur-Ozerain and its vineyard located below the village.
Traditions
The Saint-Simon market in Flavigny-sur-Ozerain combines a flea market with arts and crafts, gastronomy and regional products. The Christmas nativity scene exhibition displays around 90 nativity scenes behind the windows of houses throughout the village.
