Culture and history
The parish church of Marigny-lès-Reullée is documented for the year 1150 under the name Ecclesia de Marriniaco and for the year 1175 under the name Ecclesia Sancti Justi de Marregneio. The Church of Saint Luke was rebuilt in the Neo-Gothic style in the 19th century and is dedicated to Saint Luke.
At the edge of the village near the forest, two concentric, partially water-filled ditches can be seen. They attest to the site of the former motte forte of Marigny. The northern farm building of the complex includes a dovecote.
The Moulin Cailletet formerly belonged to the Carmelite nuns of Beaune. Part of the mill has been restored, and its sluice system remains operational. The Domaine de Moisey, also known as the Métairie de Moissey, preserves a rectangular gate tower. The present-day barn is said to have been built in the 17th century by monks from the Abbey of Cîteaux.
Reullée was formerly a relay stop for stagecoaches.
