Culture and history
The Church of Saint-Jean-de-Narosse has a nave and aisles built at the end of the 12th or beginning of the 13th century. Inside the church is a marble depiction of the Virgin Mary with the infant Jesus, overcoming the dragon, dating from 1660. The Circuit des Crêtes also passes by the listed church.
The Moulin Sorine, also known as the Moulin de Santenay, is a 19th-century windmill in Santenay that was faithfully restored in 1995. It can be visited year-round by prior appointment with the Office de Tourisme Beaune & Pays Beaunois – Antenne de Santenay. During the Fête du Moulin in June, events and tours take place at the Moulin Sorine; the mill operates depending on weather conditions.
Wine and regional sites
The Château Philippe le Hardi is a legendary building and testament to 2,000 years of winemaking history in Burgundy; it was owned by Philippe le Hardi (1342–1404), Duke of Burgundy. The tour explains the history of the château, winemaking, and the maturation of the wine in the cellars and the cuverie of the 98-hectare estate. The tour ends with a tasting of five characteristic wines from the estate, including two white wines and three red wines, as well as at least one Premier Cru.
Château de La Crée offers a bookable 2.5-hour vineyard experience in the terroirs of Santenay. After a 10-kilometre route through the vineyards, one wine is tasted at the Moulin Sorine; afterwards, three more wines from the estate are served at the château during a guided, interactive tasting, preferably outdoors.

Landscape and trails
The Circuit des Crêtes leads to the classified natural site of Mont de Sène, also known as Montagne des 3 Croix. On the Canal du Centre, boats dock in Santenay among the vineyards in the south of the Côte de Beaune.
The wine-producing villages can be explored by bicycle from Santenay along the Voie des Vignes, either towards the Côte des Maranges and Nolay or towards Meursault, Pommard, and Beaune.
