Culture

The Château de Tavannes was built between 1735 and 1744 for Charles de Saulx, Vicomte de Tavannes. It preserves a stair tower dating from the 15th or 16th century. The façades and roofs of the Château de Tavannes, the façades and roofs of the two entrance pavilions, two gates with their pillars, and two access stairways to the château were registered as a Monument historique by decree of May 20, 1988.

The parish church of Saint-Genest was built on the site of an older church founded by Flavigny Abbey. Its construction followed the design by Henri Monniot; final acceptance took place on December 7, 1880.

In La Barque in Aisey-sur-Seine are the overgrown remains of the Château des Ducs de Bourgogne; the base of the northeastern tower is still visible.
