Nature and Trails

One of the area's striking natural features is the Abîme du Creux percé, a sinkhole approximately 60 metres deep. During the winter count in 2024–2025, a colony of more than 800 Brandt's bats (Myotis brandtii) was recorded there.

A cave between Prenois and Pasques also rises above the forest and attracts numerous hikers. Along the Circuit de Pasques, there is occasionally an opportunity to see wildlife.

Routes in Pasques

The Circuit de Pasques is an easy 7.3-kilometre route with 277 metres of elevation gain. It follows wide agricultural paths through open landscapes. The circular route starts at the village shop, where ample parking is available.

The Ecole des cols 21 cycling route has drinking-water stations on the summits of Pasques and Urcy. The route on the Circuit de Pasques also provides an opportunity to observe hedge weaving (plessage).

Culture and History

Below the village, next to a pond lined with watering troughs, stands a washhouse built in the 19th century. The archaeological site of Bas du Fourneau dates from the 11th to 12th century, while the archaeological site of Lisière de Citeau is believed to date from the 1st to 3rd century.

Two well-preserved processional staffs from the 18th century are kept in Pasques. They depict Saint Léger and Saint Eloi of Pasques.
