Neulliac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Chapelle Notre-Dame de Carmès in Neulliac is classified as a historic monument. It was built approximately between 1470 and 1500 by Jean du Porzo; its 15th-century vault depicts the martyrdom of Saint Catherine of Alexandria and a choir of musical angels.

Culture

The Chapelle Saint-Samson is also classified as a historic monument, having held this status since 2021. It was restored around 1830. The Chapelle Saint-Éloi was rebuilt in 1885 on the site of an older chapel.

Next to the Chapelle Saint-Samson, two fountains face each other on the banks of the Perchenic stream. The fountain associated with the Chapelle Saint-Éloi was moved to the vicinity of the sanctuary in 1995.

Water and Landscape

Neulliac is bordered by the Blavet to the west and by the Nantes-Brest Canal to the southeast.

Trails

Neulliac has two hiking trails managed by the relevant departments of Pontivy Communauté. The La Vélodyssée cycle route includes a connection to the town centre of Neulliac.

The Circuit des chapelles entre canal et Blavet circular route starts at Rue du Stade or at the Étangs du Roz in Neulliac. The Circuit du Blavet canalisé circular route starts at Rue du Stade or at the Boloré lock in Neulliac.
