In Guilliers, hiking and cycling routes, a waterside nature area, and sacred and aristocratic heritage sites come together. The town’s varied facets range from active routes to chapels, oratories, and a historic castle complex on the shore.

Walking and Cycling Route

The Circuit de Guiny starts at the Place des Anciens Combattants in Guilliers and is an 11 km hiking trail. As a walking route, it is described as being approximately 11 km long and taking around three hours.

The Circuit VTT de Guilliers à Mohon (No. 16) also offers a 33 km mountain biking route with a duration of three hours. It starts in the municipality of Guilliers.

Water and History

The Étang de Château-Trô is a seven-hectare nature area that invites visitors to relax and fish. Guéthenoc, Viscount of Porhoët, had a castle built on the shore of the Étang de Château Trô.

Culture and Architectural Heritage

The Chapelle Saint-Nicodème de La Grande Touche was rebuilt in the 17th century and belonged to the numerous estates of the Seigneurie de Volvire. There are picnic tables and a designated car park near the chapel.

The Oratoire à Notre Dame du Retour was inaugurated on 28 June 1959. It was built from regional red slate from Comper and slate from Cô in Ploërmel.
