Baden-Mériadec: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Chapelle Saint-Mériadec was built in the 16th century and first restored in 1812. Next to the Chapelle de Mériadec stands a fountain dated 1778. The Pardon at the Chapelle de Mériadec takes place on the second Sunday in August.

The Créacéo on-demand bus service serves Mériadec in the direction of Baden Centre, where it connects to line 21.

Culture and history

The Baden tidal mill is located in Mériadec. It was built in the 15th century with the help of the Seigneur de Cardelan and rebuilt in the 18th century on older foundations.

Les Pierres Plates, an ancient site, is located near Mériadec. The nearby area is also home to Dolmen et Cairn de la Table des Marchands and Cairn de Gavrinis, both historical sites. Dolmen de la Madeleine, an ancient site, is also located nearby.

Nature

The Anse de Baden bay near Mériadec exposes mudflats at low tide. From mid-October to mid-March, it is a wintering area for brent geese.

The beaches Plage de Brouhel and Plage de Kerver are located near Mériadec. The nearby islands of Le Grand Huernic and Er Runio are also in the vicinity.
