Culture and history

The Saint-Pierre, Saint-Paul parish church in Étrelles was rebuilt between 1892 and 1901 according to plans by the architect Arthur Regnault after the fire of 1891. It is designed in the Neo-Gothic style and has a bell tower above the entrance area. Étrelles is first mentioned in historical sources around 1070. A window in the present-day Étrelles church commemorates the episode in which the town was burned down and the church looted.
