Logonna-Daoulas: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Logonna-Daoulas can be discovered through several specific places and activities. The coastal path is considered an alternative to the GR34; its coves are suitable for swimming in summer.

Culture and History

The Church of Saint-Monna is the parish church of Logonna-Daoulas and is dedicated to Saint Monna, actually Saint Nonna. Near it stands a rectangular ossuary dating from the 17th century. La croix des douze apôtres is a Christianised menhir dating from 1578.

The Sainte-Marguerite chapel complex includes a calvary, a fountain and a small surrounding wall. The chapel was largely rebuilt at the beginning of the 17th century. Château de Rosmorduc stands on an old feudal motte; its original manor house was protected by a trapezoidal fortification and moats. The Rosmorduc estates have belonged to the family of the same name since the 13th century.

The Pierre du Roz stone has been quarried since the 16th century at the quarry of the same name in Logonna-Daoulas and features on numerous façades.

La Moulinette is a cultural centre by the sea at the port of Moulin Mer in Logonna-Daoulas. It exhibits works by visual artists and offers small-scale live performances, including storytelling, readings, theatre, short lectures and concerts. La Moulinette is also a club venue open exclusively to its members.

Coast and Nature

Anse de Penfoul is a protected reserve inhabited by numerous bird species.

Water Sports

The Centre Nautique de Moulin Mer operates a sailing school year-round on the Rade de Brest in Finistère. La Paillote du Yelen offers canoeing, kayaking, catamaran sailing, windsurfing and stand-up paddleboarding.
