At the 314-metre-high summit of the Site panoramique de Goariva, you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of Trégor, Léon and Cornouaille. The Site panoramique de Goariva also offers a 3.5 km circular hiking trail that takes about one hour.
Culture and history
The Chapelle Saint-Gonéry was rebuilt at the end of the 16th and beginning of the 17th century and restored in 1787 and 1788. Its floor plan is in the shape of a Latin cross; it also has a single-nave layout and a flat-ended choir. By decree of 10 April 1981, the Chapelle Saint-Gonéry was listed as a historic monument.
The Église paroissiale Saint-Pierre was rebuilt at the end of the 15th and beginning of the 16th century and restored in 1613. By decree of 22 March 1930, it was listed as a historic monument. In the eastern part of the church, a polychromatically decorated beam depicts Death carrying the deceased in a wheelbarrow; this depiction is called Karrigell an Ankou. The portal of the Église paroissiale Saint-Pierre also contains a 15th-century Pietà .
The Motte castrale de Beffou is a motte castle dating from the 11th century and was the residence of the first lords of the Châtellenie de Beffou. Remains of the substructures and a well are still visible on its platform. Access to the Motte castrale de Beffou is free.
