Nature and hiking
The “Art roman et terres noires” hiking route is a 25-kilometre circular trail starting in Thuret at the Place de l’église. It is marked with yellow trail signs and can be used every day throughout the year. The route is considered not very difficult and has only a slight ascent between the D443 and the Puy de Pérozier. Along the way, it offers a view of the 19th-century Château de la Canière and passes through the extensively farmed areas and colourful landscape of the Limagne.
