Saint-Pierre-Eynac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Église Saint-Pierre has been classified as a historic monument since September 16, 1907. It is a Romanesque church that was later remodelled, with a remarkable north portal protected by an arch built in the 15th century. A rare feature is the staircase with five steps leading down into the nave.

An inscription at the Château de Bonneville gives the year 1326 as the year the château was built. A large salon furnished under Louis XIV has been preserved there; it is entirely covered with Córdoba leather decorated with birds and foliage. Trails and landscape

The PR191 “Autour de Monac” is a marked circular trail that begins in Saint-Pierre-Eynac. The route is 9.4 km long, takes approximately three hours, and has 361 metres of ascent and 362 metres of descent.

La Vierge can be reached via a path from the D 26 and offers panoramic views. From the Falaise de la Vierge, there are expansive views over the Saint-Julien basin, the Mézenc plateau and the Devès mountain range.

The Suc de Monac is a steep elevation that dominates the landscape. The volcanic peak of Peylenc overlooks a river landscape.

The Grottes de Peylenc can be visited; great caution is required.

Events

The annual pilgrimage to Notre-Dame-des-Miséricordes takes place on the Sunday before August 15. The Godivouac Festival is held in May on the banks of the Sumène. This festival includes a market featuring regional products and concerts.
